Pricing

Junk removal is priced by how much room the load takes on the truck. Here's how that actually works.

Starting at

$115

for a minimum load

That's the published starting figure from our Thumbtack profile. Where your job lands above it depends on the load size, the access, and what's in it.

Load Sizes

Every quote starts with how much space the load takes. These are the same tiers you'll see on a booking form, and the ones our crews estimate against on site.

  1. 1

    Half a pickup truck

A few large items or a small pile — one room's worth, a single appliance and a couch, a driveway clear.

  2. 2

    One pickup truck

The most common job. A packed garage bay, a bedroom set, or a mixed pile that's been building for a season.

  3. 3

    Two pickup trucks

A full garage, a large yard clear, or a multi-room cleanout.

  4. 4

    Three pickup trucks

Whole-property territory — house plus garage, or a heavy accumulation job.

  5. 5

    Four or more pickup trucks

Estate and hoarder cleanouts, acreage clears and multi-day jobs. Quoted after a walkthrough.

What Adds to a Quote

Two loads of the same size don't always cost the same. These are the factors that move a number up, and we tell you about them before the work starts rather than after.

Stairs and long carries
One flight, two, three, or no elevator. Distance from the pile to where the truck can park changes the labor more than people expect.
Heavy items
Pianos, safes, hot tubs and spas, large appliances and treadmills. Weight and awkwardness both count.
Heavy material by weight
Concrete, tile, dirt and masonry are priced by weight rather than volume, because the transfer station charges by the ton.
Hazardous and special-handling material
Anything that needs a licensed facility is quoted separately rather than absorbed into the load price.
Demolition before hauling
If it has to come apart first — a spa, a patio cover, a shed — that's tear-out labor on top of the load, quoted together as one number.
Access
Gates, narrow streets, no turnaround, dirt drives and permit-only parking all affect which truck we send and how long it takes.

By Service

Confirmed per-service rates go here. Until then, each pillar page explains what drives its price and every job gets a free estimate.

No flat rates are published for individual services yet. Nothing on this page is an invented figure — the starting price is the client's own published number, and everything else describes how a quote is built.
